Heat star Butler enters court with name-less shirt, changes after referees denial

Butler had asked the NBA to play with a nameless jersey to protest for social justice but his request was denied.

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler took floor for the game against Denver earlier today with no name on the back of the jersey, but referees made him switch to a jersey with a name plate before allowing the game to start.

Butler had asked the NBA to play with a “no name” jersey statement, but his demand was denied by the league.
