Happy Casa Brindisi announces the signing until the end of the football season of the athlete Frank Bartley IV, a 190-centimetre American outside player, the best scorer of the 2022/23 LBA regular season, scoring 565 points in 29 games with Pallacanestro Trieste.
Born in New Orleans in 1994, he was the top scorer in the last Italian championship with an average of 19.5 points, shooting 41% from two, 38% from three and 79% from the line, capturing 4.8 rebounds and dishing out 3 assists per game. Third player in fouls conceded and fourth in scoring, he went in double figures on 27 occasions, setting the highest number of games with at least 20 points in the entire A Series (17 performances) with a personal career high in Italy of 29 points in the game against Brescia, narrowly missed at PalaPentassuglia in the last regular season match in which he scored 28 points.
High-level performances that earned him the nomination for the revelation player of the year award and the nomination for best player of last season. In the course of his career, he confirmed his top scorer skills in Canada (almost 20 points on average), Spain (Valladolid, over 16 points per game), Germany (Bayreuth, over 14 points per match) and Israel (Ness Ziona, almost 17 points in 2021/22). In the summer he decided to embark on a new experience in China by signing for the Quingdao Eagles team, now he is ready to return to Italy to wear the Biancoazzurri colours.
Frank Bartley IV will land in Brindisi next week to join the Biancoazzurri group in view of the upcoming championship commitments.
