Hapoel Tel Aviv is not yet satiated with big market shots and is reportedly close to signing Tonya Jekiri, a long player with an extensive EuroLeague past, according to Arale Weisberg on his X account. In fact, Jekiri played in Europe’s top competition from 2019 to 2023, wearing the jerseys of Asvel Villeurbanne, Baskonia, Unics Kazan and Fenerbahce.
Last season, the player wore the jersey of CSKA Moscow, registering 8.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in the VTB League. After the signings of Jonathan Motley and Patrick Beverley, the Israeli club could make another not inconsiderable purchase.
