Hall of Famer coach John Chaney passes away at 89

Legendary college coach John Chaney has passed away at the age of 89.

Chaney spent 24 seasons as head coach of Temple, leading the school to the Elite Eight on five occasions.

Elected into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2001 and the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006, Chaney won 516 games at Temple and 741 games overall.
