John Shurna (Illinois, 1990) has reached an agreement with CB Gran Canaria to remain tied to the club until the 2024-25 season, with an option for an additional season.
In the Liga Endesa, he has played 31 games with Dreamland Gran Canaria, averaging 9.1 points and 4.2 rebounds with exceptional shooting percentages – 51.5% in two-point shots, 41.4% in three-pointers, and 92.9% in free throws.
In European competition, his numbers have risen to 11.7 points and 3.6 rebounds in 19 games, with equally good shooting percentages – 59% in two-point shots, 48.5% in three-pointers, and 86.5% from the free-throw line.
