Golden State Warriors GM Dunleavy speaks: “I’m confident Curry will be here for life”

Golden State Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy spoke about the future of Steph Curry and the franchise during the NBA Summer League. These are his statements.

Dunleavy on Curry: “I think I can say with confidence that Steph will be a Warrior for life. We knew it wouldn’t be easy to get the whole group back, but it’s not something that’s permanently broken. We just have to put some things in place.

On the Warriors’ ambitions: “With Steph and Draymond still at a high level, we have to be mindful of the decisions we make to stay at a high level in this league. We went over the salary cap to stay competitive. We really want to win”.
