ON OLIMPIA’S SEASON
“Last year we had an up and down season, if not below expectations. But then, like this year, the group was always there to work, to grow, to try. But despite all the difficulties, the Scudetto came. Everyone tends to trivialise it, but it’s no small thing. So now we’re trying to do everything we can to qualify, until the mathematics condemn us to do everything we can, and we’re second in the league. Let’s go to Bologna and play for second place, and then maybe we’ll go to Brescia. One thing at a time.
ON THE MILAN-MELLI EXTENSION TALKS
“We’ll see who lives. To be honest, I don’t talk to Nicolò about these things. I think he’s very happy to be with Olimpia as captain and I think Olimpia is very happy with everything Nicolò has done so far. So it’s up to them. I have nothing to do with it and I honestly don’t know anything, so I’m waiting like you”.
