Panathinaikos president Dimitris Giannakopoulos has never hidden his admiration for Denver Nuggets centre Nikola Jokic. He has stated in the past that he stopped watching the NBA after Michael Jordan’s retirement, but started following Jokic’s games again and that he would love to bring him to his Panathinaikos team, although it is a forbidden dream given the Serbian’s salary.
This morning, Giannakopoulos posted a story on his Instagram account in which he said he woke up in a good mood, unlike yesterday, and jokingly (but not too jokingly) asked the Denver Nuggets superstar if he would like to sign for his Panathinaikos.
