Gianmarco Pozzecco and Sasha Djordjevic reportedly front runners for Italy's NT head coaching job

Italbasket will look for a new coach after Eurobasket

Gianmarco Pozzecco is the front runner to become head coach of Italy’s NT after Eurobasket, La Prealpina reports.

Pozzecco is Ettore Messina’s assistant coach in Olimpia Milano, a position he is unlikely to keep next season.

Sasha Djordjevic is another candidate for the position after his year in Turkey with Fenerbahce (where he will be replaced by Dimitris Itoudis).

Meo Sacchetti will not continue as head coach after Eurobasket 2022.

Pozzecco is also a candidate for Pallacanestro Reggiana’s head coaching job.
