Restricted free agent guard Garrison Mathews will sign his qualifying offer and return to the Washington Wizards, his agent Chris Patrick told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
Mathews was on a two-way contract last season and 5.4 points on 41.3% for three in 18 games with the Wizards.
