A 1997-born centre, Gillespie averaged 2.5 points in the EuroLeague with Red Star last season.

Freddie Gillespie has signed a one-year deal with the New Zealand Breakers, sources told ESPN. The 6’10 American big-man – who has a 7’5 wingspan – last played for KK Crvena Zvesda; he was second in the EuroLeague in block percentage last season.
