Italian side Fortitudo Bologna’s talks with Croatian coach Jasmin Repesa are increasing, according to different sources. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that is likely that Bologna will part ways with current coach Antimo Martino, who led the team back to Serie A last season, exercising an opt-out clause before June 15.
Repesa, who led Fortitudo to an Italian championship in 2005, is a beloved fan favourite and strongly appreciated by sponsors and advertisers who support the Italian side, according to La Repubblica. Fortitudo is expected to return to a European competition next season and to play Basketball Champions League.
