Even though they cannot be physically in Cologne, a select group of fans will still be able to show support for their teams inside Lanxess Arena during the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four thanks to a virtual Fan Wall.

The hi-tech video wall will allow the lucky group of fans to take a courtside seat in a virtual stand which will be displayed across a 46-meter x 3.5-meter screen along the sideline.

The fans, who have been invited to take part by the four qualifying clubs and Euroleague Basketball, will stream live video of themselves watching the games, cheering on their teams on the Fan Wall, which will be visible to players inside the arena and on live television coverage for fellow fans watching at home.

This ground-breaking initiative will give some of the most loyal EuroLeague supporters the opportunity to play a part in the action despite the restrictions made necessary by the pandemic, once again underlining Euroleague Basketball’s commitment to innovation and digital transformation, and championing the central role of the most important people of all: the fans.
