Discussions also focus on the EuroLeague, with top clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona reportedly considering not renewing their licenses after 2025-26.
Additionally, FIBA and the NBA are negotiating calendar adjustments to facilitate participation in the 2028 Olympic qualifiers. Logistical challenges for the Los Angeles Olympics, particularly if the Clippers reach the NBA Finals, are another key issue. According to Zagklis, collaboration between the parties remains crucial for the sport’s growth.
