Fenerbahçe Beko has officially announced the signing of Jilson Bango, a 2.08m Angolan center from Casademont Zaragoza. The 1999-born player has signed a contract until the end of the 2026-27 season.
Bango began his career in Angola, winning two consecutive MVP awards before moving to Europe in 2022. After two strong seasons in Germany with Braunschweig, he impressed in Spain with Zaragoza, averaging 13.9 points and 5.9 rebounds in ACB while earning the league’s December MVP award.
Known for his athleticism and effectiveness around the rim, Bango is expected to bolster Fenerbahçe’s frontcourt as the club aims for further success.
