Facundo Campazzo: Individual numbers are always good, so long as they help the team

Real Madrid star Facundo Campazzo talks after dishing an Euroleague record 19 assist in the road win over ALBA Berlin.
“Alba Berlin always demand 100%, both physically and mentally. They play at a very high pace and are a very dangerous side. Any of their players can put points away and that makes it harder. We can take more good than bad from this game. In the second half we showed our best basketball and picked up the win here”.

On the 19 Assists.

“I knew I’d provided a fair few but I wasn’t counting. The guys who scored the points deserve the credit too. Individual numbers are always good, so long as they help the team. I try to bring things into the game and be as complete a point guard as possible. My teammates help me to do that and I love playing like this”.
