Former LA Clippers strength coach Randy Shelton has filed a lawsuit against the team and president Lawrence Frank, alleging wrongful termination due to concerns he raised about the handling of Kawhi Leonard’s injuries.
Shelton claims the Clippers initially recruited him in 2019 as part of a multiyear strategy to acquire Leonard and that he was later excluded from team decisions regarding Leonard’s health.
After voicing concerns over Leonard’s recovery protocols, Shelton alleges he was dismissed unjustly in 2023. The Clippers have denied the allegations, stating Shelton’s claims are unfounded.
