The 13 clubs will form an important base to build the future of the competition on.

The 13 shareholder teams of Euroleague in the meeting scheduled today confirmed their commitment to remain in the competition for another 15 years. And this is before the current agreement with IMG expires in 2026, as revealed by several European media including BasketNews.

The 13 clubs (Anadolu Efes, Barcelona, Baskonia, Bayern Munich, Fenerbahçe, LDLC ASVEL, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Olimpia Milano, Olympiakos, Panathinaikos, Real Madrid, Zalgiris Kaunas and CSKA Moscow) will form an important base to build the future of the competition on.

The decision will be ratified by a vote next week.

The participants of Euroleague and Eurocup 2024-25 will also be announced in the next meeting, with Valencia the main candidate to play in the Eurocup and Wild Cards granted to Crvena Zvedza, Partizan, Virtus Bologna and Alba Berlin.
