The field for the EuroLeague Women Final Four is set, with Beretta Famila Schio, CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld and ZVVZ USK Praha joining Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding in confirming their berths on Wednesday.
Mersin defeated Tango Bourges Basket 91-63 and Schio saw off the challenge of Valencia Basket Club 62-53 as they both claimed decisive Game 3 victories to advance to the Final Four for the first time.
Praha overcame Perfumerias Avenida 74-66 to also seal a 2-1 series triumph, while last season’s runners-up Fenerbahce had avenged their defeat to Sopron Basket in the 2022 Final by clinching a 2-0 sweep over the reigning champions on Friday.
In the Semi-Finals, Fenerbahce will take on Schio and USK Praha will meet Mersin.
Schio become the first Italian side to reach the Final Four stage of the competition since Parma made the Semi-Finals in 2002, while Mersin are also set for their Final Four debut as two sides from Turkey remain.
Fenerbahce locked in their third consecutive Final Four appearance in convincing fashion and will be aiming to reach a fifth Final since 2013 with the coveted piece of silverware so far eluding them.
USK Praha are the only former winners remaining in the competition having lifted the title in 2015, which was also under current head coach and five-time winner Natalia Hejkova.
The venue of the Final Four, set to take place from April 14-16, will be announced at a later stage.
