Bayern Munich has changed head coach, appointing Gordie Herbert, and the abrupt end to the “Laso project” raised quite a few eyebrows. That said, the club is ambitious, with a new arena and a prestigious brand—second only to Real Madrid.
Shabazz Napier will be the team’s offensive engine, and if he finds consistency, Bayern could surprise, especially since he’s already been involved in their preparations.
However, the roster lacks impactful frontcourt players, with Booker and Brankovic needing to step up. Vladimir Lucic remains a key player, but his ongoing injury issues are a concern.
