EuroLeague Sportando Power Rankings | 18th to 9th position

The 2024-2025 EuroLeague season is approaching, and it's time to make (and probably miss) all predictions with the Sportando Power Rankings

17 – Paris Basketball

Making their EuroLeague debut, Paris Basketball faces a daunting challenge. The team won the EuroCup, but their lack of experience in Europe’s top competition will be a major hurdle.

T.J. Shorts, MVP of the last EuroCup (and essentially of every competition he has played in), is certainly one of the most anticipated players in EuroLeague. Nadir Hifi, who also showed potential in the Summer League, pairs with Shorts to form an intriguing backcourt. Let’s not forget Ward, another sought-after talent in Europe.

Coach Tiago Splitter, in his first experience at this level, has much to prove. Kevarrius Hayes is the only true interior presence, leaving the team vulnerable against more structured squads.

Daulton Hommes, who rebuilt himself in Italy after injury at Baskonia, will also be interesting to watch. Paris may excite fans with their dynamic play, but it’s unlikely they will compete for a high ranking.

Coach – Thiago Splitter (nuovo)

PG – Shorts (confermato), Lo (Milano)

G – Hifi (confermato), Herrera (confermato), Ouattara (Monaco)

SF – Ward (confermato), Malcolm (confermato)

PF – Hommes (Trento), Sy (confermato), Jantunen (confermato), Cavaliere (Strasburgo)

C – Hayes (Zalgiris), Kratzer (confermato), Kessen (confermato), Shahrvin (confermato)
