10 – Virtus Bologna
Virtus Bologna showed great promise in the first half of last season but lacked consistency when it mattered most. The addition of Clyburn and Tucker adds offensive firepower, but the main concerns lie in the frontcourt.
Zizic needs to be defensively solid, which he has not been so far, or else Virtus could struggle against more physical teams. Cacok’s absence also hurts the rotation. Finding synergy between Morgan, highly anticipated in EuroLeague, and veterans like Belinelli, Hackett, and Pajola will be crucial.
Luca Banchi has a roster with potential, especially with a versatile group of guards. If they can develop chemistry—and perhaps find another big man—they could aim high.
