Olympiacos Piraeus team captain Georgios Printezis entered Turkish Airlines EuroLeague history books on Friday night by becoming the all-time leader in two-point shots made. Printezis did it in style, too, working low post, spinning and banking a left-handed shot from close range with 9:19 to play in the second quarter of Round 28 game against Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade.

With that make, Printezis passed the previous leader Ante Tomic, who had topped the charts with 1,137 two-pointers made. They are two of just four players in competition history to make 1,000 or more two-point shots. Printezis downed another basket before Olympiacos won the game 94-79 and now his history making two-point total is 1,139 shots made, and counting.
For Printezis, a two-time EuroLeague champ with Olympiacos in 2012 and 2013, this was his 334th EuroLeague game, which is the fifth-highest total in competition history. He entered this round ranked third all-time with 3,401 points scored, sixth all-time with 1,383 career rebounds, and eighth with 3,628 performance index rating points.
