Evan Fournier, coming off a strong debut season in the EuroLeague with Olympiacos, shared his opinion on the European market on X, commenting on a post by Aris Barkas.
According to Fournier, in order to avoid in-season negotiations that distract not only the players but also the teams, journalists, and fans from the actual game, it would be useful to establish a common “free agency start date” across Europe. This date, Fournier suggests, should fall after the end of the domestic leagues.
💯. Having a Free Agency date opening would benefit everyone. Players and teams. Wait until everyone’s season is over and lets get to business https://t.co/Uzf5KM3zwa
