The Game Center has been named after Selver Dzigal, the highly respected former Euroleague Basketball Competitions Department manager who passed away one year ago.

Euroleague Basketball has unveiled the newly refurbished “Selver Dzigal Game Center” at the company’s offices in Barcelona. The Game Center has been named after Selver Dzigal, the highly respected former Euroleague Basketball Competitions Department manager who passed away one year ago.

The “Selver Dzigal Game Center” is very much a nerve center at Euroleague Basketball headquarters, the place where all Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, 7DAYS EuroCup and Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament games are habitually monitored live by staff representing multiple departments of the company. Selver was an integral part of the team responsible for managing the EuroLeague, EuroCup and ANGT. He was a fixture at the Game Center, spending countless hours there tracking games and keeping in contact with courts across the continent to assure the smooth running of all competitions. Selver will forever be remembered as a cherished member of our basketball family.
