Jordan McRae of Hapoel Vegan Friendly Tel Aviv posted the highest performance index rating of all 7DAYS EuroCup players this week to record his second consecutive MVP of the Round honor

In a spectacular comeback win, Jordan McRae of Hapoel Vegan Friendly Tel Aviv posted the highest performance index rating of all 7DAYS EuroCup players this week to record his second consecutive MVP of the Round honor. McRae led Hapoel from a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit to a 93-95 road win against London Lions on Wednesday. His PIR of 40 was McRae’s personal best in two EuroCup seasons and the third-highest of any player this season. His career-high 36 points, reached after scoring 13 in the last 7 minutes, and his 12 two-pointers made were both the highest such totals in the EuroCup this season. McRae also made 9 of 11 free throws to go with 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 8 fouls drawn.

Sharing Round 10’s second-best PIR of 32 were London’s Sam Dekker and Patrick Richard of U-BT Cluj-Napoca. Dekker played all 40 minutes in his team’s loss to Hapoel, finishing with 29 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. Richard posted 23 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals in Cluj’s home loss against Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse. Rounding out the list of the week’s top performers were two centers, Aleksander Dziewa of Slask Wroclaw and Ante Tomic of Joventut Badalona, with PIRs of 30 each. Dziewa collected 23 points and 10 rebounds in a home loss against Gran Canaria, and Tomic posted 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in a road defeat against Germani Brescia.

Individual highs: Chinanu Onuaku, Hapoel, 17 rebounds

McRae led all scorers in Round 10 with 36 points, the highest total of the 7DAYS EuroCup season. Joe Young, recently released by Promitheas Patras, still remains this season’s top scorer with 23.4 points per game. Hapoel center Chinanu Onuaku led all players this round with 17 rebounds. Buducnost VOLI Podgorica center Alpha Kaba is this season’s top rebounder with 11.2 per game.

Three players had 9 assists in Round 10: Caleb Agada of Prometey Slobozhanske, London’s Jordan Taylor and Marco Spissu of Umana Reyer Venice. J’Covan Brown of Hapoel averages a EuroCup-best 7.3 assists this season. Joe Thomasson of Promitheas Patras and Kristian Kullamae of 7Bet-Lietkabelis Panevezys each had 4 steals in Round 10. Jeremiah Martin of Slask tops the steals charts with 3.0 per game. Prometey’s Ondrej Balvin and Bourg’s Amida Brimah led all players this round with 3 blocks apiece. Joventut’s Simon Birgander is EuroCup’s top shot-blocker averaging 1.9 blocks.

There were five double-doubles in Round 10: Onuaku had 10 points and 17 rebounds, Lukas Meisner of Veolia Towers Hamburg (17 points, 12 rebounds), Dziewa (23 points, 10 rebounds), Aleksa Ilic of Buducnost (11 points, 10 rebounds) and Gyorgy Goloman of Lietkabelis (13 points, 10 rebounds).
