Greece beat the Czech Republic 72-64 on the first day of Group F in the EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers.

Greece beat the Czech Republic 72-64 on the first day of Group F in the EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers, thanks to a great performance of its top players in the offensive half of the court and a good defensive performance of the team. Winning debut for Vassilis Spanoulis on the bench of the Greek national team.

Former Olimpia Milano player Mitoglou was the top scorer with 22 points and 7 rebounds, while Thomas Walkup had 16 points, 8 assists and 5 steals and Papanikolaou had 16 points and 8 rebounds.

For the Czech Republic, Balvin’s double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds was not enough, in addition to Peterka’s 12 points and Kyzlink’s 10 points.
