Ettore Messina talked about the next match against Cska for the third place in EuroLeague: «I coached in two games like this [third-place game]. One time we won and one time we lost. It is very complicated. I think it all depends on the mood of the players. Both teams have ahead of them big, big games coming up shortly in their national leagues, so we probably need to protect somebody who is at risk of injury, so we will see. I think nobody can plan the game, meaning that the way the game unfolds, the players usually find a little bit of energy just because they like playing. They start playing and it might be even a good game. I remember that, a few years ago in London, it was a very good game between us [CSKA Moscow] and Barcelona. The second time in Milano, we were extremely depressed because we threw away, basically, an opportunity to win after being up big time against Maccabi. We had no energy and were kind of a banged-up team, mentally, and we gave no fight. So honestly, I don’t know».
