Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Xavi Pascual will not be the next coach. In fact, as reported by Encestando, the Turkish club has reportedly decided to take another direction regarding its bench, and although a deal with the former Barcelona coach among others seemed likely, Efes preferred to tack on other names.
The well-known website writes that Dusan Alimpijevic is currently the leading name to become Efes’ next coach. Besiktas’ current coach Vassilis Spanoulis has also been mentioned, but the Turkish club’s favorite is Alimpijevic. Xavi Pascual, on the other hand, remains one of the hottest names in the coaching market as his current contract with Zenit St. Petersburg expires.
