Thanks to the new ‘NIL’ contracts, which allow college athletes “to benefit from their name, image and likeness”, Paolo Banchero becomes the first College Basketball player to sign a partnership with NBA2k.
As part of the deal, Banchero will have his character in the game and will create additional 2K content over the course of the season.
Banchero will begin his freshman year at Duke with an NCAA basketball classic, the game against Kentucky, scheduled for November 9 at Madison Square Garden.
Banchero is currently considered among the best NBA prospects for the 2022 Draft.
