Donovan Mitchell questionable for Game 5 with ankle injury

Donovan Mitchell aggravated his left ankle injury. The Cavs star will be a game-time decision for Game 5 vs. Pacers

Donovan Mitchell is officially questionable for Game 5, after an MRI revealed that he aggravated a previous ankle injury during Sunday’s Game 4 loss to the Pacers, ESPN’s Shams Charania reports.

Mitchell left the game at halftime and never returned. After attempting to warm up, he stopped suddenly in pain and returned to the locker room. He finished with 12 points on 3-of-11 shooting in 20 minutes.

The Cavaliers, now down 3-1 in the series, may have to fight to stay alive without their top scorer. Mitchell had posted back-to-back 40-point games before Sunday, a feat no Cavs player had achieved since LeBron James.
