Donovan Mitchell declines Olympic invitation, Steph Curry unlikely to be in Tokyo as well

For the several high-profile commitments that are coming from NBA stars for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, there are also some renounces.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Jazz star Donovan Mitchell has declined the opportunity to play in Japan, choosing to instead recover and rehab from his ankle injury.

AP’s Tim Reynolds added that USA Basketball is working under the premise that Warriors star Stephen Curry won’t be part of the Olympic roster as well. Curry was said to be a possible roster member for Team USA.
