Sacramento Kings big man Domantas Sabonis tied the NBA record for consecutive double-doubles with the 53rd achieved in the win over the Orlando Magic.
It’s the longest streak since the ABA-NBA merger in 1976.
Sabonis equaled Kevin Love, who achieved the feat in 2010/11, and will have a chance to set the new record Monday in the game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The lithuanian big man leads the league with 66 double-double (new Kings record) and 24 triple-double in 70 games.
