The Denver Nuggets are showing strong interest in Alpha Diallo. According to BasketNews, the NBA franchise is targeting the forward after he was named EuroLeague Best Defensive Player of the Year.
Diallo has already committed to Dubai Basketball on a multi-year deal, but his contract includes an NBA exit clause valid through July 15. The report also states that multiple NBA teams are monitoring the player.
Last season with Monaco, Diallo averaged 11.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 13.6 PIR in EuroLeague. Over five seasons in the Principality, he developed into one of the competition’s top two-way forwards.
