Baskonia pointguard Darius Thompson recently granted an interview to Backdoor podcast.
The 27-year-old former Happy Casa Brindisi – “Brindisi is my second home”- also talked about the possibility of wearing the jersey of the Italian national team.
“Maybe it is a possibility for the future, but for right now I am not sure. But yes, if there is a possibility in the future.. I’ll take it for sure, I’ll be excited to play”
Thompson is producing 10.7 points, 5.9 assists and 1.6 steals in 25 minutes per game in his first year in Euroleague.
