CSKA president Vatutin says club’s budget will be ‘seriously reduced’

CSKA Moscow president has confirmed that the club will pay a heavy price for the Coronavirus crisis.

In an interview with Russia 24, CSKA Moscow president Andrey Vatutin has confirmed that due to the coronavirus pandemic the Russian powerhouse will have to significantly reduce its budget for next season.

“At this point all basketball teams have zero incomes. A number of sponsors have already told us that they won’t be able to continue their cooperation with CSKA. It is clear that the club’s budget will be seriously reduced, all European basketball teams are in a similar position”, he said.
