Crvena Zvezda furious after the match against Buducnost: “We’ll evaluate our future in the ABA Liga”

Crvena Zvezda threatens to leave the ABA Liga after the events during the match against Buducnost: this is the statement.

Crvena Zvezda is furious with ABA Liga after the match against Buducnost, Game 1 of the semifinals lost by 34 points. In fact, the match was interrupted due to objects being thrown onto the court, but Nikola Kalinic threw one back violently towards the crowd, resulting in a three-game suspension. As a result, Crvena Zvezda’s official statement on the matter was not long in coming, in which it seriously threatens to leave the Adriatic League. Below is an excerpt from the Serbian statement.

“We have shown enough patience in response to recent events. The Adriatic League management continues to engage in activities that do not benefit the league, without any sense of responsibility. We are a major club, and we will not allow anyone to treat us disrespectfully or damage our reputation. As the Red Star club, we announce that we will seriously reevaluate our future in the league”.
