Coronavirus: ASVEL will play the next games despite restrictions

Forced to postpone the game at the Astroballe against Monaco because of the coronavirus this Sunday, Asvel has taken steps to meet government requirements. The Minister of Solidarity and Health Olivier Véran asked on Saturday for the cancellation of all events with more than 5,000 people in confined spaces in order to avoid the spread of the virus. Asvel therefore decided to limit the capacity of the Astroballe to 4,500 spectators.
The ASVEL-Valence (Tuesday March 3, Euroleague) and ASVEL-Le Mans (Sunday March 8, 25th day of Jeep Elite) games will be played regularly. And this, even if the prefecture wants them to be disputed behind closed doors. The Villeurbanne club believes, however, that there is no reason to believe that this will be the case, as long as the bar of 5,000 people present in the hall (with a capacity of 5,500 seats) is not exceeded.
