Former NBA player Kyle Singler posted a troubling video on social media on Saturday, prompting widespread concern. In an explicit and emotional rant shared on Instagram, Singler appeared visibly distressed and disheveled while making a series of serious allegations about his personal life.
In the video, the 37-year-old claimed that people close to him are taking his money and said he no longer feels safe.
“I don’t feel safe,” Singler said. “I’ve got people in my life taking my money — this is a message to everybody in my life who has been messing with me.”
Singler went on to make alarming claims regarding his child, alleging sexual, physical, emotional, and spiritual abuse, and criticizing those he believes are aware of the situation but have not intervened.
“Shame on everybody that knows me that’s not helping, not intervening,” he said, directly calling out Duke University, his hometown of Medford, Oregon, and others.

The former forward, who played collegiately at Duke University and spent time in the NBA with the Detroit Pistons and Oklahoma City Thunder, also stated that he is currently homeless and isolated.
“I’m on my own, homeless, and people are just feeding off me,” Singler said, adding that his child has been used as a “weapon” against him. “I’m not apologetic for living my life out of love — being there for people I want to be around.”
