Clippers owner Steve Ballmer says Seattle is at top of list of eventual NBA expansion

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer has said that Seattle is to be considered a front runner in case of an NBA expansion in the near future.

“The commissioner talked about the fact that it’s an open consideration at some point to do expansion. If an expansion were to happen Seattle would be up at the top of the list (…) I’d love for Seattle to have a basketball team again”, Ballmer said, also stating that “Clippers are the LA Clippers and they will stay the LA Clippers”.
