Onuaku returns to Israel after a brief stint in the Italian league

Chinanu Onuaku is right back on track with a new team after parting ways with Dinamo Sassari.

According to Wallasport, the big man will return to Israel, where he won last season’s MVP title, to strengthen Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Onuaku, who produced averages of 14.8 points, 8 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 9 games played with Sassari, is expected to replace Chris Horton.

UPDATE: The Israeli team announced the arrival of the former Louisville big man.
