Chima Moneke signs two-year deal with Baskonia

Chima Moneke has signed a two-year contract with Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz. In 16 games, the majority of which came off the bench, Moneke (1.96 meters, 27 years old) averaged 3.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 4.6 PIR. He made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut midway through the season after joining AS Monaco. After a standout season with Manresa in 2021–2022, the charismatic forward is back in Spain. He recorded 14.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.6 steals in 36 games of the Spanish League, as well as 13.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.2 steals in 15 matches of the Basketball Champions League. Baskonia will now attempt to use this iteration of Moneke in the EuroLeague season after that.
