Schroder will be free agent after this season
The Boston Celtics are ready to listen to offers for Dennis Schroder.
Per Shams Charania of the The Athletic, The Celtics signed Schroder to a one-year, $5.9 million deal and are unlikely to be able to afford to keep him next offseason.
Schroder is averaging 17.5 points, 4.9 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game for Boston.
After a blood clot was discovered in his lungs, the Cameroonian center sought a second opinion at Cedars-Sinai, where doctors diagnosed venous thoracic outlet syndrome
Detroit has increased its previous offer by $10 million, but the center has rejected the proposal so far

The move helps Atlanta address a roster crunch, as the Hawks had 16 players on standard NBA contracts
The extension will run from 2027 through 2029 and includes a player option for the second season
