Celtics TIE The NBA Single Game 3-POINT RECORD ! (29 Made Threes in opener vs NYK))

The Celtics' starting five (Tatum, Brown, Holiday, White and Horford) combined for 26 of 41 from long distance

The Boston Celtics started the regular season on a high note, dominating the opener against the New York Knicks partly, if not mainly, thanks to their massive use of three-point shooting.

In the end, Tatum and his teammates ended with 29 of 61 from long distance, tying the NBA record (Bucks in 2020) for three-point shots scored.

The ‘Greens’, however, stopped just short of the new record, missing their last 13 attempts once they reached 29.
