Celtics President Brad Stevens named 2023-24 Executive of the Year

Former Boston coach wins the award for the first time in his third season in the role, after assembling an NBA-best 64-18 team

Boston Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens has been named the 2023-24 NBA Basketball Executive of the Year.

Brad Stevens has won the NBA Basketball Executive of the Year Award for the first time. He is in his third season in his current position after serving as the Celtics’ head coach for eight seasons. Stevens assembled a team that went an NBA-best 64-18 in the 2023-24 regular season. His player acquisitions leading into the season included two of Boston’s starters, guard Jrue Holiday and forward-center Kristaps Porziņģis.

The voting panel for the NBA Basketball Executive of the Year Award consisted of team basketball executives from around the NBA.
