Cedevita Olimpija has made official the signing of Martinas Geben, a Lithuanian wing-center with international experience, who arrives after two seasons with Manresa. Geben, who will miss the current Lithuanian national team campaign due to family commitments, said: “On the court I can contribute in many ways, from defence to shooting from distance. My greatest quality is my high basketball IQ.”
Geben started his university career at Notre Dame before moving to Žalgiris and later to Juventus, where he excelled in the Lithuanian league. He played in Germany and Spain, recording 8.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 0.6 steals per game last season.
