Carmelo Anthony announced his retirement

In his illustrious career, he was selected for the All-Star Game ten times and has distinguished himself as one of the top scorers in NBA history. Moreover, Anthony was recently voted as one of the members of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary team, acknowledging his significant contribution to the game.

Born in New York, Anthony began his professional career in 2003 with the Denver Nuggets, after a standout college season at Syracuse where he led the team to an NCAA title. After seven seasons in Denver, Anthony returned to his hometown to play for the New York Knicks, where he spent most of his career. He subsequently played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, and finally, the Los Angeles Lakers.
