The Tasmania JackJumpers are pleased to announce import MiKyle McIntosh has signed a one-year deal with the club for the 2021/22 Hungry Jack’s NBL Season.
The 6’7 forward joins the JackJumpers after a successful international career which has seen him play professionally in South Korea, America in the NBA G-League, Canada, Belgium and France.
McIntosh last played in France with ESSM Le Portel where he averaged 12.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. The 27-year-old also represented the Canadian national team at the 2020/21 FIBA AmeriCup.
McIntosh completes Tasmania’s trio of imports for the upcoming season alongside Josh Magette and Josh Adams. The JackJumpers’ roster also includes NBL Next Star Nikita Mikhailovskii, Will Magnay, Jack McVeigh, Jarrad Weeks, Clint Steindl, Jarred Bairstow, Fabijan Krslovic, Sam McDaniel and Development Player Sejr Deans.

“MiKyle brings a lot of international experience and a winning mentality to the JackJumpers. He is a versatile forward who can make plays for others, and he is a player his teammates will love playing with.
“He brings great size and toughness to the squad which were attributes we were looking for. MiKyle brings a great attitude to Tasmania, and he will become an instant fan favourite.”
McIntosh said: “I’m so excited to be joining the JackJumpers and beginning my NBL journey in Tasmania.
“When Coach Roth approached me and outlined his vision and direction for the club, I knew it was something I wanted to be involved in. We have a really strong roster and I believe my skillset fits in well with the group and we can have instant success.
“I’m also looking forward to getting out in the Tasmanian community and meeting JackJumpers fans across the state. I can’t wait to get to Tasmania and get to work.”
