California Governor Gavin Newsom has said that in the state live audience sports events will be held ‘once therapeutics have been developed’.
Sports without an audience are instead in ‘stage 3’ of the state’s plan, alongside in-person religious services and movie theaters shows.
STAGE 4: End of Stay-At-Home Order
Re-opening the highest risk parts of our economy — once therapeutics have been developed.
This will include mass gatherings such as:
– Concerts
– Convention Centers
– Live audience sports— Gavin Newsom (@GavinNewsom) April 28, 2020
