Chicago Bulls chairman Michael Reindorf said this is a “very exciting” day for the organization after the official hiring of Arturas Karnisovas as the new Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations.

“This is a very exciting day for the Bulls organization,” Reindorf said. “John Paxson came to me and my dad back in December. We talked and we felt the organization needed to make a change.”

“We did an extensive search. I spoke with other owners, GMs, former GMs. I spoke to agents, people in the media, people at the league… though all the conversations I had, one name kept coming up: Arturas.”
